A very easy way to make your blog into a book. Take a look. We just did it and that's why we're blogging again.
We are the Gurney family! We have three boys Porter, Peyton, and Preston and one girl, Clara. Lynn is in his third year of a Prosthodontic Dentistry Residency at The Ohio State. Erin gets to stay home with the boys and Clara and keep busy with them.

Lego My Transformer Fun
One afternoon the boys wanted to "play legos." So, we decided to create our own lego transformer figures. I think it took us the better part of the day to get something created that we all liked. Now, the boys sleep with their transformer on their bed. I'm still not sure how they haven't become broken by doing so. Peyton helped me design the Optimus Prime transformer and Porter would be satisfied until we figured out how to make Bumble Bee. We made one more and I think Porter has told me that it is definitely a Starscreen decepticon. One thing I do know is the boys love to play with legos.

Dental Check-Ups
Good news! The boys currently have no cavities. I thought it was funny that though I'm their dad and I look in their mouths almost everyday, both the boys were quite nervous to visit the dentist. They ended up doing well when it was all said and done. I examined their teeth was able to scale and polish their teeth. Also, they each allowed me to obtain a panoramic radiograph. I think this was Peyton's first dental visit. By the way, for all those dentist out there that fallow our blog once in a while what can you see wrong with Peyton's pan?

Saying goodbye!
We have been so blessed with such great friends over the years! How have we been so lucky?! Since we don't have family close, our friends have had to become like family. We've swapped babysitting, shared holiday's together, girls nights, visited each other in the hospital when new babies were born, cooked meals for each other, thrown baby showers, zoo trips, shopped together, had play dates, game nights, txt after txt, and have had so many other fun moments together! It's been fun meeting a lot of new people and sharing our lives with each other for a short time. Recently 4 family friends have moved away because they are done with this chapter of their lives. We miss them all terribly and wish them the very best! So, here's a shout out to the Farleys, Howells, Heatons, and Packs :). Makes me wish, once again, that I took more pictures with each of these families (I did copy a few from each of their blogs...sorry guys).

Summer Vacation
We've been having a blast this summer! Too bad I'm a really horrible at documenting with photos. We have very few of them, but I will share the ones that I did get :)
First of all, we had a great trip out to Idaho and Utah. We drove 69 + hours to get there and back, but it was totally worth it! The kids did great on the way there, but Clara screamed a lot on the ride home. Can you blame her?!
We stopped in Omaha for a day and got to see so many fun friends. The Saxton's hosted a little gathering after church. It was a blast! I stole these pictures off of my friend Alicia's blog because once again...I didn't take any!

On to Utah we drove! We saw Kim, Matt and Karlee for a day. We're so glad we did! We drove up to the Belcher Cabin...It looks amazing! We had fun playing games and seeing Thomas the Train. We stayed in Heber for a day and a half, then we headed to Idaho!

We had a lot of fun in Idaho. We stopped for a day or so to visit Lisa and her family in Mountain Home. The kids had fun playing with Micah and Kate. Lisa and I sewed Christmas gifts! I'm trying to get ahead of the ball game. Lynn went and shadowed Dr. Stauts (a Prosthodontist in Boise). I didn't take any pictures...so mad!
We then made the drive to Emmett, Idaho for Uncle Matt's graduation. The kids loved seeing their Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We BBQ'd, attended graduation, made shirinky-dinks, went to the park, bought Boise State shirts, played cards, saw a lot of family and had a great time. The only pictures I took were at Boise State at the famous blue turf. Side note...Clara learned to walk while we were in Idaho!

After about a week in Idaho, we drove back to Utah to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma Belcher. Lisa and her kids came and spent some time with us there. We went to the park, McDonald's, painted toenails, played cards, went to a mini indoor carnival, saw my awesome high school girl friends, and ate at Tucanos! Lisa and I got to make a couple of trips to the Park City Outlets.

After visiting Utah, my mom and I drove home because Lynn had to leave Utah early to get back to residency. We stopped overnight in Omaha and stayed with the Wilkensons. We then drove to Wisconsin and stayed with the Acors for a few days. We made it in time for Kara's birthday party and Tanner's birthday party. I sure wish I had pictures of the fun we had together...lesson learned I guess :)
Thanks family and friends for all the fun on our three week excursion! It was a blast :)

We also got to see some old friends from dental school, the Thurbers. They were in Boise for a graduation as well. We haven't seen them for 3 years! It's fun to see how big their kids are getting :) ps. I'm already starting to look pregnant!
