Up, up and away!

Last Saturday we went to Offutt Air force Base to their free Air Show. It was really cool and the boys just loved all of the airplanes. We met Chelsea, Craig and Maddie Chambers there, so it was fun hanging out with them again! We saw big airplanes and small ones, helicopters and jets. They even had pretend explosions that went off to show what the bombers could do. Our favorite was the Hornet jet. It was super fast and loud, but it could slow down and be so quiet too.

Here we are taking the school bus from Bellevue West High School to the airforce base. Porter thought the bus ride was so much fun. Peyton wouldn't even look for a picture.

Here are the boys enjoying a view of one of the big airplanes. Notice that there are hardly ever any pictures of me? That is because I am always the one taking pictures :)

Porter was itching to spend his five dollars from Great Grandma Ballard and he begged for a toy airplane, so we finally let him buy it with his birthday money. He was much happier once he had that toy to play with. He flew it all over the place and even almost hit a few people with it. Oops.
