Pre-K update...not so good

So, now that Porter has gone to preschool for one week I have to tell ya that it's a struggle. Each day he goes it gets worse and worse when I drop him off. Today he told me that he hated school and that he didn't want to go, so the whole way to school he just kept saying, "I don't want to go to school!" So the past three days he has been throwing the HUGEST fit when I go to leave him in his classroom. He will cry and scream as if he were getting a beating. It's pretty ridiculous if you ask me! I have know idea what to do! His teacher says that the crying only lasts for a minute or two and then he is fine. Every day I pick him up he is in a good mood. I guess it's just in the morning when I go to drop him off. Bribes don't work, pep talks don't work. Any ideas?????? I think I will go crazy if this lasts any longer.
