So...maybe I figured it out
Today as Porter was going to school we saw his teacher in the hallway and we talked about how Porter has been behaving recently at school. I think we figured it out! The first day of school he came home and told me that he didn't eat the breakfast that they gave him at school. I told him that he needed to try it because I figured that he was probably hungry by 9:30 am. He always was hesitant to tell me that he didn't eat the breakfast because he didn't want me to get after him. (He's known for being picky and not eating all of his food). So the conclusion that we came to is that he didn't want to go to school because he was afraid of when breakfast time came around because he didn't want to eat it. Big fit for such a small deal. Anyway, his teacher told him that he didn't have to eat the breakfast and he did wonderful today! So, I guess we will see how he acts on Tuesday when we go back. I hope that our observation was right.

The logic of children is so baffling! I could totally see that being the point of contention. Hopefully you're right!
That is so funny. It's always the little things:) I can't believe our kids are old enough to be going to school!!!
